Xtendra®–Lösungen auf der Basis von Ascorbylpalmitat werden immer weiter entwickelt und verfeinert. Ascorbylpalmitat ist ein Lipidderivat von Vitamin C (Ascorbinsäure), das häufig in Säuglingsnahrung verwendet wird.
Physiologisch gesehen wird es im Verdauungstrakt abgebaut und setzt Vitamin C und Palmitinsäure frei. Früher von der Tierernährungsindustrie vernachlässigt, erfährt es jetzt mehr Aufmerksamkeit.
Xtendra®–Produkte auf der Basis von Ascorbylpalmitat in Kombination mit Tocopherolen bieten einen attraktiven alternativen antioxidativen Schutz für Fette, Öle und Produkte mit niedrigem Feuchtigkeitsgehalt.
Darüber hinaus können sie mit herkömmlichen Antioxidantien kombiniert werden, um ihre Wirkung zu verstärken.
